Welcome to the Blue Shield of California Health Plan page.  The documents below have been designed to help RadMD users navigate the prior authorization process for each program Evolent is responsible for. Effective January 1, 2026, Evolent will begin managing authorizations for select advanced imaging, IPM procedures and MSK surgeries for Blue Shield Medicare Advantage PPO Plan members. In addition, we will also begin managing oncology services for Blue Shield Group Medicare Advantage PPO, Commercial PPO, ASO and Shared Advantage, Trio HMO (those with virtual primary care physician plans), or direct contract HMO plans. To help you prepare, we'll be hosting live, virtual training sessions beginning in November.
